We have Scouts who came into our troop from a pack. They were moved into our unit by the pack administrator, but they are not marked with a green shield in our troop roster and I cannot approve any advancements for them. What do I do?
First have a unit key 3 person login to http://my.scouting.org and check Member Manager to make sure the youth is registered in your unit. If not, have the youth’s parents fill out a membership application, have it signed, and handed into your local council service center.
Then in Scoutbook, Click on the Scout, click on their memberships, click on the membership for your unit and check the Position Approved box and update.
