I am trying to add merit badge counselor to my positions so I can sign off on scouts badges and it keeps giving me an error notice to contact council. I am not able to add this position. Council has received and approved my application to beca councillor but I am still not able to complete the process in scoutbook. This causes issues when I try to sign off on merit badge activities the scouts has completed.
If when you click on your name > My Positions you do not see Merit Badge Counselor listed, then your local council Scouitbook Administrator needs to upload the current merit badge counselor list to Scoutbook. Please contact your local council service center.
Also, make sure they have the same member ID for the merit badge counselor position that you have in your profile in Scoutbook.
