For cases where the merit badge is marked as Completed, approved or awarded by mistake, do the following:
- Go to the Scout’s Advancement page.
- Click on the merit badge.
- Click on Completed.
- Remove the “Date completed”. (If the merit badge has been marked as Approved or Awarded, you might need to remove those check marks first.) Then update or save.
NOTE: Only leaders authorized to mark an item approved can remove approvals.)
You can do something similar for updating / removing approved or completed requirements.
