Q. How does a merit badge counselor know that they have been sent an invitation to be the counselor for a scout? There are several who have been sent invitations a long time ago, but are still in the Pending status and one said that they went into Scoutbook, but don’t know where to go to see and accept the invitation.
A. When the merit badge counselor logs in, they will see the Scout on their dashboard. If they do not, the unit admin can reinvite them by Clicking on the Scout’s name > Scout’s connections > selecting the merit badge counselor from the list. If they are still pending, the admin can check the Send Invite box again and resend the invite.
